We believe “The Simpsons” today is a pale, sad parody of itself which should be taken out to a field and shot. In 2018 we decided we could no longer force ourselves to watch the zombified corpse of a program we once loved shamble across our TV screen on Sunday nights and pulled the plug. In honor of the show that should have ended 20 years ago, we painted 30 variations on Duff beer. Some appeared onscreen, others were mentioned but not seen (so we imagined their packaging). Produced using acrylics and glitter glue on 24″ x 36″ recycled commercial canvas.
